PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

     PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Carthage will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, February 6, 2012 at 7:10 p.m. at the Village Offices located at 120 South Mechanic Street, Carthage, New York to consider a local law to expand the residency requirement for Acting Village Justice to any resident in the County of Jefferson and the County of Lewis.

    A full text of the local law is file with the Village Clerk and may be viewed during normal business hours. All persons wishing to be heard on these issues should be present at the date, time and place aforestated or have submitted written comments in advance. Any persons requiring special accommodations to attend or participate in the hearing should notify the Village Clerk at least three (3) business days prior to the date of the hearing.
